Replacement of impellent oil and oil filter

Long contact of skin to the fulfilled impellent oil is quite dangerous. Use protective cream and put on gloves during carrying out this procedure. The clothes which have become impregnated with oil replace immediately.

Regular and frequent replacement of impellent oil is the main preventive procedure of the service, to the available amateur mechanic. Eventually oil is subject to a razzhizheniye and pollution that conducts to premature wear of the engine.

Impellent oil can be extorted by means of a special probe (is available at filling stations) through a tube щупа measurements of level of oil. After that it is necessary to fill system with oil, as a rule.

Do not pour out the fulfilled oil together with a household waste or otherwise. It can cause environmental pollution.

Expediently at replacement of oil to fix on the engine a label with brand of oil and its viscosity.

Application of oils of various types adversely affects operation of the engine. It is not recommended to mix various brands of oils also. Impellent oils of the same type and brand, but various viscosity in necessary cases, in particular in inter-season period, can mix up.

Necessary tool:

Viewing hole or the hydrolift with supports (if oil is not sucked away).

Head for an otvorachivaniye of a drain stopper.

The special tool for a filter otvorachivaniye (a key for the filter, a tape key or the HAZET 2172 tool).

Capacity for collecting oil (if oil is not sucked away) by capacity not less than 6 l.

Necessary spare parts and expendables:

Only if oil is not sucked away: an aluminum or copper sealing ring for a drain stopper (are sometimes delivered together with the oil filter).

Oil filter.

Necessary amount of impellent oil. Apply the oil resolved by the manufacturer, address to Specifications.

Removal of impellent oil

Impellent oil can be also removed with a vysasyvaniye method, by means of a probe, through an opening щупа.

The engine warm up to working temperature (oil temperature +60°С).

Lift the car horizontally.

Substitute under the case pallet capacity for collecting the fulfilled oil.

Turn out from the pallet of a case (2) drain stopper (1) and completely merge oil.

If in the fulfilled oil there is at a large number a metal shaving and wear products, it indicates existence задиров, for example, in bearings of a cranked shaft and shatunny bearings. For an exception of damages after the carried-out repair it is necessary to clear oil channels and hoses carefully. It is in addition necessary, if is available, to replace an oil radiator.

Then it is necessary to screw a drain stopper with a new sealing ring. It is not necessary to exceed the moments of an inhaling specified in Specifications, otherwise it can lead to violation of tightness and damages.

Lower the car on wheels.

Replacement of the oil filter

Unscrew from below the oil filter. For an otvorachivaniye of the oil filter there is a special tool, for example, HAZET 2172 (2). It is possible to pierce also the filter (1) sideways a screw-driver, - prepare for collecting spilled oil.

Flange of the oil filter clear fuel. Remove from a flange the possible remains of laying.

New laying of the oil filter grease with a thin layer of impellent oil.

The new oil filter strong tighten only effort by hand. After laying will lie down to a flange, tighten the filter on a turn floor. Pay attention to the remarks provided on the case of the filter.

Stopper of a drain opening with a new ring tighten the ukazyanny moment in Specifications.

Filling of impellent oil

At the first start of a turbodiesel after replacement of oil it is necessary to watch that the engine at first worked on single turns, the control lamp of pressure of oil will not go out yet. Only after achievement of necessary pressure of oil it is possible to increase gas. If gas is given at a burning control lamp, owing to insufficient amount of oil the turbokompressor can be damaged.

Filling of oil is made through the special, jellied mouth equipped with a cover in a cover of a head of cylinders (see. Section Check of levels of liquids, control of leaks).

At replacement of oil apply new oil of the same type and, whenever possible, the same brand. For the purpose of minimization of a razbryzgivaniye use a funnel. At each replacement of oil attach to the engine the plate on which specify brand and viscosity of the filled-in oil.

It is recommended to fill in at first oil on 0.5 l less. Warm up the engine and in some minutes, by means of the index, check oil level, if necessary add. Surplus of oil remove, consolidations of the engine and the catalytic converter otherwise can be damaged.

Oil add to MAX label on an edge measuring щупа (see. Section Check of levels of liquids, control of leaks). If level of oil is higher, oil is necessary to pump out surplus.

After a trial trip check tightness of landing of a drain stopper and the oil filter, if necessary carefully add oil.

3 minutes later after an engine stop again check oil level, if necessary add or remove oil.
