Security measures at carrying out body works

At repair of a body it is necessary to apply spot welding. Only if it is impossible to bring electrodes to a place of welding, it is necessary to apply welding in the environment of inert gases. As some elements of a body are zinced, it is necessary to accept the following security measures:
  • At carrying out welding works or any other works connected with formation of sparks, surely disconnect the storage battery (positive and negative cables) and carefully isolate both plugs (-) and (+). At works near the storage battery, it is necessary for removing. Without a code the radio receiver can be included only by his manufacturer or HUNDRED Mercedes-Benzs;
  • When welding the zinced sheets poisonous oxide of zinc is formed. Therefore it is necessary to watch good ventilation of a workplace. Increase a welding current on 10 (at most 30) percent. Apply electrodes from firm copper with high thermal firmness (above + 400°С). Clear electrodes more often and process them till diameter of a contact surface in 4 mm. Increase pressure upon an electrode. Increase welding time. Time is chosen truly if welding points are put without splashes;
  • The details of the conditioner filled with a coolant, it is impossible to weld and solder both soft, and firm solder. It belongs also to a situation when there is a danger of heating of elements of the conditioner during the welding or the soldering of other elements of a design.
  • At removal of the battery the memories given from electronic blocks, in particular, a radio receiver code are erased!

    In addition

    It is not necessary to open a contour of cooling of the conditioner since the coolant at hit on skin can cause frostbite.

    When drawing a paint and varnish covering in the drying furnace heating of the car to temperature above + 80°С is not allowed. Otherwise electronic devices of the car can be damaged. Besides, in the conditioner the pressure raises, able to lead to system destruction.

    The sheeting of the bottom of the car from PHV is removed a rotating steel brush or hot air in temperature to + 180°С by means of a shpatel. When heating covering from PHV to temperature from above 180°С there is a chemical reaction and the hydrochloric acid promoting active development of corrosion, besides, is formed unhealthy pairs are formed.
