Parktronic (PTS) system

PTS provides the driver with information on car distance to an obstacle. At movement by a forward course front sensors are activated only.

At movement by a backing are supervised both back, and a zone lobby.

The system joins automatically at a key povorachivaniye in the ignition lock in situation 2 and remains active until speed of movement of the car will not exceed value in 15 km/h, - system shutdown also is made automatically.

Repeated activation of PTS occurs at decrease in speed of movement of the car below a boundary in 15 km/h.
There is a possibility of compulsory shutdown of PTS by means of established on vertical section of the console of the switch (see. Section Governing bodies and salon equipment).

Serviceability of functioning of Parktronic system to a great extent depends on extent of pollution the established on forward and back bumpers of ultrasonic sensors. Hindrances can bring ultrasound sources (including squeal of pneumatic brakes of lorries).


The forward zone is supervised by six ultrasonic sensors which have been built in in an overlay of a front bumper (two in the middle and on two on corners), back - four sensors in a rear bumper. Range of operation of sensors makes 100 cm for the central forward sensors, 60 cm for angular forward sensors, 120 cm for the central back sensors and 80 cm for external back sensors.


The minimum admissible distance between the sensor and an obstacle makes 15 cm for angular sensors and 20 cm for central, the sensitivity threshold further is broken. Watch purity of a surface of bumpers.

About dangerous approach to an obstacle during a parking of the driver warns a 3-second acoustic signal, besides, special light indicators are provided on the dashboard and in assembly of the back salonny lamp. Indicators are divided on 6 yellow and 2 red segments which completeness of activation corresponds to distance to the next obstacle.

At connection of electroconducting of the trailer to the turnbuckle socket (at the corresponding complete set of the car) the system is automatically disconnected.

In case of violation of serviceability of functioning of PTS red segments of all light indicators of system are activated and the 3-second acoustic signal stands out, - check purity of surfaces of bumpers.
