Covers of camshafts have sequential numbering, since a forward cover of the right final camshaft. Numbers are beaten out on heads of the block of cylinders. Covers of bearings should be established in the same situation. |
Removal

1. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation 45 ° before VMT. 2. Remove the top forward cover. 3. Mark the mutual provision of a chain of a drive of GRM concerning asterisks of camshafts. 4. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of a drive of GRM. 5. Remove the top sliding levers. |
6. Remove a chain of a drive of GRM from asterisks of camshafts. Turn camshafts by means of a key (1) so that cams did not press hydrojacks (see сопр. illustration). Turn right final and right inlet asterisks approximately on 6 teeths in the direction of rotation of the engine. The left inlet asterisk turn approximately on 10 teeths in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the engine. The left final asterisk turn approximately on 14 teeths in the direction of rotation of the engine. |

7. Weaken covers of bearings of camshafts consistently so that to prevent any unilateral tension of a camshaft. 8. Remove covers of bearings and camshafts together with asterisks and regulators. |
