GRM drive - the general information, service of components

Camshafts can be turned without risk of collision of valves with pistons in a case when the cranked shaft is given in situation 45 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder.

The gas-distributing chain can be replaced without engine dismantling. By means of listed below tools the new chain can be connected to old, is passed round asterisks and зачеканена (see. Section Replacement of a chain of a drive of GRM)

At the wrong assembly there can be a collision of valves with the bottoms of pistons!

General information

For performance of procedures of removal and installation of elements of a drive of GRM the following special tools be required:
  • Pin of blocking of a camshaft х4 - No. 111589031500;
  • Camshaft key - No. 119589000100;
  • Stripper of a nave/pulley of a cranked shaft - No. 103589003300;
  • The tool for flywheel blocking / a driving disk - No. 116589014000;
  • The tool for installation of links of a gas-distributing chain - No. 000589584300;
  • Set of shtampoderzhatel for installation of links of a gas-distributing chain - No. 103589016300;
  • Attenuators of a gas-distributing chain - No. 110589035900;

  • Pay attention to the next moments:
  • If the return is not stipulated especially, turn the engine only in the normal direction;
  • Observe the efforts of a tightening of fixture stipulated by standards;
  • At the corresponding complete set do not forget to mark before removal adjusting position of the CKP sensor;
  • Do not turn a cranked shaft for asterisks of camshafts, and also other asterisks of a drive of GRM;
  • Do not turn cranked and camshafts at the removed gas-distributing chain.

    Details of installation of elements of a drive of GRM

    1 — Adjusting labels for engine reduction in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder
    2 — Cores in diameter of 6.5 mm for fixing of camshafts
    3 — during installation of a chain track, that ledges of a regulator of a camshaft (3) were in the situation "delays".
    4 — camshaft Blocking from a provorachivaniye can be made by means of a key.
    5 — Removal of assembly of a natyazhitel of a chain


     PERFORMANCE ORDER

    1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
    2. For the purpose of simplification of a provorachivaniye of the engine turn out all spark plugs.
    3. Bring a cranked shaft into situation 45 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder.
    4. Pass in camshafts lock cores (2) diameter of 6.5 mm.
    5. During installation of a chain track, that ledges of a regulator of an inlet camshaft (3) were in the situation "delays".

    At the wrong assembly there can be a collision of valves with the bottoms of pistons!


    Before starting performance of repair procedures remove assembly of a natyazhitel, - do not incline assembly in the course of removal.

    The final camshaft of the right head of cylinders should be blocked by a lock core before removal of a natyazhitel.


     PERFORMANCE ORDER

    1. Camshaft blocking from a provorachivaniye can be made by means of a key (4).
    2. Having executed necessary regenerative repair, establish a natyazhitel into place.
    3. Tighten NEW bolts of a regulator inlet and asterisks final camshafts with effort of 18 Nanometers (a type A bolt with a separate washer) or 20 Nanometers + 60 ° (a type B bolt with the built-in washer).

    During performance of repair work it is necessary to replace a bolt of type A with a disposable bolt of type B.

    4. On the engine 119.97 replace a regulator spring if its sizes do not correspond requirements of Specifications.
    5. Tighten the NEW bolt of a regulator of an inlet camshaft with effort of 7 Nanometers (a type A bolt with a separate washer) or 5 Nanometers + 90 ° (a type B bolt with the built-in washer).


    During performance of repair work it is necessary to replace a bolt of type A with a disposable bolt of type B.


    On release models to 07/94 do not forget to grease before installation the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and its washer (ы).
