GRM drive - the general information, service of components

Camshafts can be turned without risk of collision of valves with pistons in a case when the cranked shaft is given in situation 30 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder.

The gas-distributing chain can be replaced without engine dismantling. By means of listed below tools the new chain can be connected to old, is passed round asterisks and зачеканена.

At the wrong assembly there can be a collision of valves with the bottoms of pistons!

Details of installation of elements of a drive of GRM

     PERFORMANCE ORDER

    1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
    2. For the purpose of simplification of a provorachivaniye of the engine turn out all spark plugs.
    3. Bring a cranked shaft into position VMT of the piston of the first cylinder (1).
    4. Pass in camshafts lock cores (2) diameter of 4 mm.
    5. During installation of a chain track, that ledges of a regulator of a camshaft (3) were in the situation "delays".

    At the wrong assembly there can be a collision of valves with the bottoms of pistons!

    6. Camshaft blocking from a provorachivaniye can be made by means of a key (4).
    7. The tightening of bolts of asterisks of final camshafts (5) should be made with effort of 22 Nanometers (type A - TORX T30) or 20 Nanometers + 90 ° (type B - TORX T40).

    During performance of repair work it is necessary to replace bolts of type A with disposable bolts of type B.

    Bolts of fastening of a regulator inlet and asterisks final camshafts are disposable and is subject to replacement without fail.

    8. Before starting performance of repair procedures weaken a cap of a natyazhitel (6) on one complete revolution.
    9. In position of the engine 30 ° after VMT of the piston of the first cylinder remove assembly of a natyazhitel (see. Natyazhitel chains of a drive of GRM) undressed.
    10. Having executed necessary regenerative repair, make installation of a natyazhitel.
    11. Remove a podpruzhinenny cap of a natyazhitel (6).
    12. Push a plunzher (7) in the case of a natyazhitel (8) in the direction specified by an arrow.
    13. Establish the case of a natyazhitel and tighten it with effort of 80 Nanometers.
    14. Establish in the case (8) a plunzher (7).
    15. Establish the remained components (6) and (9) and tighten a cap with effort of 40 Nanometers.
    16. Do not forget to grease before installation the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and its washer (ы).
