Details of installation of a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove forward covers.
2. Remove the pump of system of cooling (2).
3. Remove the air filter with a measuring instrument of an air stream.
4. Remove the air pump (9).
5. Remove the generator (13).
6. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation 30 ° after VMT.
7. Mark an arrangement of a chain of a drive of GRM concerning asterisks of camshafts.
8. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft with a damper of krutilny fluctuations.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Unscrew a pulley (10) helmsmen of the pump (12) and remove it, establish a belt of a drive of the generator (21) over a pulley (10), establish a clamp (14) and weaken fixing bolts.
2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the steering pump (12) and fix the pump with the attached tubes sideways. On engines with the VMT sensor unscrew sensors (L1/1) and (L1/2) from a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Unscrew the filter of the air pump (4) and remove it.
2. Unscrew bolts (15) and (16) and remove an arm (3) air pumps/generators.
3. Turn on a natyazhitel of a chain of a drive of GRM.
4. Unscrew bolts (17), (18) and (19) and uncover chains of a drive of GRM.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Wipe and grease with hermetic sealing surfaces (shooter) of the oil highway of a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM (7).
2. Wipe sealing surfaces of a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM (7) and the block of cylinders. Grease sealing surfaces of the oil highway of a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM (7) with hermetic 002 989 73 20 10.
3. Replace sealing rings (8).
4. Establish a cover of a chain of a drive of GRM (7).
5. Tighten bolts of fastening (17) and (18) the first.
6. Check combination of color labels (arrow) on a chain of a drive of GRM and on asterisks of camshafts.
7. Establish a natyazhitel of a chain of a drive of GRM.
8. Further installation is carried out as it should be, the return to removal.
